Traditionally, installing a stereo in older vehicles while maintaining the factory look has been a difficult problem to solve, until now. Our Ghost Box is a small but very powerful Bluetooth head unit that can be hidden behind the dash to not interfere with the factory look. The Ghost Box allows you to maintain the appearance of your factory radio while also enjoying the capabilities of modern Bluetooth technology. With the Ghost Box, you don’t have to choose between old and new, at least when it comes to your factory radio and the appearance of your dashboard.
The Ghost Box can be installed into any vehicle. Installation is the same as installing any other aftermarket stereo with our universal kit. Additionally, we have made it even easier for popular models and offer harnesses that are direct plug-and-play. If you don’t see your car on the list, no worries—you can purchase a stereo install harness for your vehicle through retailers such as Crutchfield, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Simply attach this stereo install harness to the universal Ghost Box wire harness like you would any other head unit, and then this will plug directly into the vehicle. Should you need to install the Ghost Box farther away from your stereo connector, simply add our extension harness. This is completely plug-and-play for all Ghost Boxes.
The Ghost Box is very powerful at 200 watts RMS (four-channel with 50 watts RMS per channel). This means your music will play from all four speakers for the surround sound you crave. The unit comes with two pairs of RCA outputs, as well as a remote wire to allow you to add an additional amplifier to power a subwoofer. Once installed, the audio EQ settings and volume are controlled by your phone or tablet. There are no cumbersome buttons to interface with; everything is completely hidden (like a ghost).
